Do you need to shrink a partition with your Linux or Windows without reinstalling the system?
You can resize your partition without loosing your data with Gparted:

1. Go to Gparted.org and download the Gparted Live ISO.
2. Create a bootable USB using this ISO https://youtu.be/rpGgTTFKwiU
3. Boot from this USB drive.
4. You can keep everything default during the boot. Press enter for every question.
5. Make sure you selected the hard drive with the partition you want to resize.
6. Select the partition and click Resize
7. Change the size of your partition.
8. Select unallocated space and click New.
9. Create a new partition.
10. Check the summary of changes you are about to apply.
11. Apply changes.
12. Close the program.
13. Double click on exit and reboot into your main system.
14. Your system should work as before but on a smaller partition.
